ClimateZero is an independent, non commercial climate data project. This page explains what information is collected from visitors and how it is used.
This site does not require an account and does not ask visitors for personal information to use it. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you choose to provide, solely to respond to your enquiry. That information is not sold or shared with third parties.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand approximate visitor numbers and which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects non identifying technical information such as browser type, approximate location at country level, and pages visited. No data collected is used to personally identify visitors. You can read Google's own privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics opt out browser add-on.
If this site displays advertising through Google AdSense or a similar network, that provider may use cookies to show relevant adverts based on your visits to this and other websites.
