I am currently pursuing postgraduate research in International Relations at the University of Sheffield, focused on climate inequality and how communities are affected by it. My dissertation examines structural power dynamics in global climate governance, including how emissions responsibility, economic loss and policy influence are distributed unevenly between countries and how that shapes the path to net zero.
Alongside my studies, I've worked with Rotherham Council's climate change team, which is part of what drew me to build a public-facing resource rather than keep this research confined to an academic audience.
ClimateZero was built to present that research area as an accessible, data led resource, using figures drawn from official and academic sources rather than commentary.
Every figure on this site comes from official or authoritative sources, including NASA, NOAA, the WMO, the IPCC, the IEA, IRENA, the World Bank, the IMF, the United Nations, and Our World in Data. Each statistic links to its original source.
Tell us about your town, city or country, and the one change you'd most like to see on climate, whether that's better flood defences, cleaner air, or a government that actually turns up to the negotiating table. We read every reply, and may feature some (anonymised) in future updates to this site.
